Majors division and above - Protective Mask Requirements

Starting this Spring, players in the Majors division and above may wear a jaw guard fitted to their batting helmet instead of a face mask.

Here are the official details - 
- Batters must wear a Little League approved protective helmet during batting practice and games.
- For Minors divisions and below, a protective mask must also be fitted to the helmet.
- For Majors divisions and above, batters may wear a Universal Jaw Guard (or 'c-flap') fitted to the helmet.
